  • Does my doppelganger have the same knowledge I have, or just the same outward physical characteristics?

They don’t have a replica of your brain, if that’s what you are asking.

They just look the exact same as you, along with your voice.

But they might have hacked your phone and started listening in to be able to mimic the way you talk.

Does my doppelganger possess the same physical objects I do, like an identical copy of a cell phone, say?

No, but they could just steal your phone, or better yet, just kidnap you and lock you away then steal your clothes too.

  • I used EyeBuyDirect.

But their no-name brand frames suck ass and fall apart quickly, you’re gonna need to pay more for the quality frames so they don’t fall apart in like 3 months.

I don’t think online glasses stores are gonna save you much money, its more like a convienience thing, so that you don’t have to wait in a physical store. You’re still sacrificing quality and durability with price. Those cheap frames will fall apart much sooner than the expensive ones.

But, I use them because they have some frames that is ready to ship within 2 days, great for when my glasses break and I needed one like… ASAP.

Stores take like 1 to 2 weeks, I hate that, takes forever.

I don’t think there’s a “best” way, its just what’s convienient to you.

Zenni Optical and EyeBuyDirect are the most common ones I read about on the internet, and the top 2 search results, but since Zenni didn’t have 2 day shipping option, EyeBuyDirect is what I chose to go with.

EyeBuyDirect has like a one time free replacement for defects. You take photos of the broken glasses, send it to them, and pay shipping, and they send you new ones, they didn’t even want back the broken ones (I mean, its not must use to them anyways). (But don’t choose the same frames if you are gonna get a replacement)

  • Usually, organizations would want to manage all of then from a single interface and keep the devices locked down. Chromebooks usually won’t allow you to tamper with the OS in any way. (not easily, anyways)

I mean, you can’t have kids playing video games on a school-issued laptop in the back of the classroom, right?

Plus, only a large corporation could even provide the device support like repairs and stuff. Unless small companies can manage to provide support for schools around the country (or even the world, depending on how large they want to expand), for the mean time, its seems like Chromebooks have won. 🤷‍♂️

  • I’ll say ProtonVPN (despite the CEO controversy)

If you ever want to watch Youtube videos, Mullvad and IVPN is gonna trigger websites like Youtube, Reddit, sometimes even Google search engine, to block you or make you sign in.

Mullvad and IVPN has too few servers, its much more likely for a server to get blocked.

ProtonVPN has like 11,000 servers, so even if it doesn’t work on the first server, clear browsing data, close browser, and pick another server. Usually you’ll find a working one within like 3 tries. Don’t let it auto pick the closest one, just randomly scroll and click on a server.

  • Meh, its probably some issue with the carrier assigning IP addresses.

I occasionally get search results in Spanish and it shows my location as in Mexico, even though I’m closer to the Canadian border. And do not speak Spanish, am not Hispanic, and do not have Spanish in my phone settings.

IP address shows it as near where I live. Not sure what the problem is.

I use a VPN with only like Fennec and a few apps selected to go through the Wireguard tunnel, everything else use a separate Wireguard tunnel. Neither’s exit server is in Mexico.

    Must be a bug 🤷‍♂️
