Like I’ve said before- their market is small enough they should be trying to get everyone they can to buy it.
I never have to charge my wired headphones.
Nor do I have to buy new batteries or new headphones when they die.
The sound quality on them blows no matter which you get.
Cincinnati chili and a rhinegeist.
Forgot- you gotta add their repo.
Fair. There is Molly on fdroid if you like.
Imagine being this vitriolic in response to someone’s personal anecdote.
The person you responded to said they did find a sense of community like the study describes. Nowhere in there did they argue that anyone should be forced to go back to an office nor even that an office spot be made available to people.
For traveling I find it much easier to just buy an esim
I really want to give furios phone a shot. It’s apparently close to supporting my carrier.
That and a sailfish phone. The community one though didn’t support my carrier (think it’s mainly EU specced only.)
What I find missing most of the time though is any esim support. Makes me wonder if the hardware one that you can program an esim on works.
I need to give this a go again. Tried it a while back but wasn’t impressed enough to keep it. Been using pulsar since which has mostly been nice.
I’ll be honest, Im not sure why theyre not releasing this as 11.x.
This seems to be a major update. From what I can tell there are API changes, plugins might not work, your entire db is converted to another format, etc.
I’m excited for it and thankful for all the work- just seems so big that it should be tagged 11.0.0
I mean, if youre continually updating files on remote take the time to learn vim. My God it’s a million times more efficient. Even using the keybindings in an ide makes sense.
That and Im not aware that rhel distros at all have nano built in. Nothing on a random rocky 9 box I randomly sshed into just now.
Excellent news honestly. Trying to get people to switch to something encrypted and the one thing I’ve thought of is that I want to know it can continue indefinitely. Everything else in life costs money- we just never think of it computer wise because we pay with our data and privacy.
This can join threema with a solid revenue stream. I back mine up locally but would pay for this anyhow.
Maybe use tags for that but I’ve never personally messed with it.
Which is funny. I get MLS season pass with my season ticket. I had to jump through so many hoops just to ACTIVATE this free thing. You can’t just visit a website. You need an account with a credit card. You either use an Apple device or iTunes. You can’t use their app on any platform (even the one youre going to use to watch it) to activate. Big thing is you cant even get iTunes on Linux without a huge hassle and wine. This isn’t even getting into that the android mobile app wasn’t even released till this year, like three years in.
The whole experience convinced me to NEVER buy anything Apple.
no way that’s even possible
Oh no… Anyway
FuriOS is a newcomer and promising. I was very close to getting that but a few issues prevented me. Hopefully my next phone will be full Linux. Really, really want to ditch android. Governments also need to stop catering to the duopoly and make stuff for all platforms (or rather just secure web apps.) And force banks, etc. To do the same.
There’s a ton more too. It’s quite surprising how many projects that have. Isn’t Cassandra theirs too?
They’re not nerds. They’re geeks at worst and really just programmers.
