In general the small points are not actually related to the overall point or are the rare exception to larger trends and are either meant to derail the discussion or show that the other person is going for gotcha points.

Try hard trolling, the username makes it too obvious.

Proper pressure = quicker showers and replacing the showerhead less often because the hard water buildup doesn’t turn the lazy river pressure into a trickle. Needing to double flush a low flow toilet sucks too.

Does matrix handle livestreaming with a half dozen friends as easily as discord? Chatting and sharing with a few friends is all I have ever used it for and would hate to lose that ability.

Discord is dogshit for larger communities for sure, and I stopped trying to access game specific ones after trying a few out.

Incel has never been a label without the part about hating and blaming women, although it has expanded to hating men too over time. It has always been about not getting laid and expressing frustration and anger. There isn’t some neutral meaning to reclaim or anything like that.

If you don’t blame the gender(s) that isn’t having sex with, you are not an incel. That just means you haven’t successfully found someone which can be for a wide variety of reasons, most of which can be addressed by changing behavior and how one tries to connect with the desired group.

I carry my phone in my left front pocket all day every single day and zero scratches since 2022 (galaxy s22). I have a case on the back that has raised edges above and below the screen because it keeps the screen and camera lenses from laying on the surface, plus a little corner drop protection, but no screen protector.

Easiest example: children!

I got a case because it feels better in my hand due to being so ridiculously thin and so that the camera lenses and front screen are slightly recessed when I set it down. A little extra drop protection is nice of course, but really it just feels better in my hand and is easy to set down wherever.

I have had a Galaxy s22 since 2022, use it many times each day and carry it in my left front pocket. Zero scratches despite dripping it several times, probably because the case kept the screen from hitting the ground.

Prior phone was the same for three years as well, just upgraded because it ended up being truely free between discounts and trade in.

The phone before that did get a scratched and eventually cracked screen. Newer screens are pretty solid if you don’t abuse them.

Till we get to a mythical stage of agi that can actually decide globally if it thinks a company should exist or not and what purpose it should have, this is more or less same as the status quo.

This will never happen because why would the humans in power let an agi exist that is beneficial towards the general public? The idea that agi will ever be a beneficial replacement for humans certainly is a myth.

AI CEOs would be trained on human CEOs so they absolutely would.

My dad was honored for helping out massive number of people during his short life and died while trying to beat leukemia. He did not deserve that.

As far as I can tell they are easy to add and everyone else is doing it, so the people who make decisions about the website don’t want to feel left out. Kind of like how those sites became popular in the first place, easy and perceived popularity.
