I used to think that hair grew when it was watered - like a plant - and therefore showering was what allowed your hair to grow. No one ever told me that, I just assumed it to be true at a young age.

Forgot my best friend’s birthday. We don’t normally get each other anything, or celebrate in any way, so it slipped my mind. Felt awful and wanted to turn back time so bad.

There is a similar thing already written, minus the automatic part. You set it as your default browser and lets you do all sorts of things to the link before opening it in a browser. It lets you choose which app to use the link in afterwards. You can unshort urls, it checks for malware or redirects… You get the picture. Not sure if this helps with what you are after:

I think they are clamping down and trying to force people to watch yt in Google’s desired way. They have managed to stop most Piped instances via ip banning and also requesting users to “sign in to confirm you are not a robot”. I wish their was a proper alternative at this point. It would be great if something like Peertube took off.

As others have mentioned, for me I sometimes use it as just filler (part of natural language). Alternatively, I can use it to add emphasis or to exaggerate.

Do you have a problem with win using localtime and always being an hour behind? Frustrates the hell out of me.

Haven’t seen many gory films or films in general but definitely Terrifier 2.

EDIT: that’s the only one with enough gore to warrant being here.

I couldn’t either… I ended up using dd, though it’s probably not the best way by a long shot.
