Pretty sure the beeper app is just a fork of element with added ui for interacting with different bridges.

There’s an android app. I think you have to download it from their website rather than the play store cos it is in beta.

What happens if you just send the example selfie instead of your own? Do they actually check it?

And even if you had the source code it may not necessarily qualify as open source.
