a server I was a part of a while ago had maybe 30 people, but with a ton of topic based channels. the ‘owner’ would CONSTANTLY bitch about conversations being too specific for general and reprimand people.

even in one server I’m currently in, which has ~2500 members, there’s really only 50 people active on it. one of the mods still does this all the time (“tAkE iT tO #PoLiTiCs”) and it inevitably only ends the conversation every time. nice “community”.

I will never understand how it’s the thing so many people suggest to edit audio. the UI is so obtuse and unlike every other piece of software that does the same things.

I would hope someone has made a toaster drive dock by now, missed opportunity

3070ti and a 43” 4k gaming monitor, sometime in 2020 when pandemic pricing was at the highest bullshit level. it would cost less than 1/2 that 18 months later, but I’m glad I didn’t wait.

massive screen real estate at 144hz all the time was worth it for work alone.

given how much is going on in the diy / open source keyboard community, I’m sure there’s going to be some options

still using an LG V30 (24bit 96k dac) with a few varying pairs of IEMs almost daily. going to keep using the V30 until it doesn’t work on cell networks anymore. really don’t want to have to fuck about with carrying an external dac to use good headphones.
