It’s WebOS for now sadly. I have a jellyfin server, but it frequently doesn’t have internet as family members need the cable. And I don’t have a lot of money to spare at the moment, but I hope to buy an nvidia shield 4k, and stream everything from jellyfin soon.
You might also enjoy Infections of a Different Kind and A Different Type of Human. I’m a bit of a fan :)
AURORA!!
I’d recommend The Gods We Can Touch, and when you’re done with that What Happened to The Heart. If you’re wondering who she is, maybe listen runaway, you’ll probably recognize that. Hope you enjoy! :)
I’ve heard an nvidia shield with lineageOS is really quite good!
Thanks!
Relatable. I had heard of it and wanted to play it, and after looking up strategies I was dropped down the rabbit hole. It’s one of my favourite games when it comes to lore and I did quite enjoy the games, even if I’ve heard that the dev is a horrible person.
That’s really good!
I’ve noticed @[email protected] contributes to the community a lot!
This does sound quite cool!

Mobilism is a source for pirated ios apps, but it’s quite limited. I agree with the people mentioning pihole, but if you have to block ads on-device change the dns settings and/or use brave browser, which has the most adblock capabilities on iOS. Altstore is an alternative appstore (AltStore PAL in europe costs 1,50 a year in europe iirc) which has alot of cool apps and allows sideloading of ipa files on-device. I generally do recommend a pixel with grapheneOS, though I haven’t tried it myself yet.
Edit: Forgot to mention some of the downsides of AltStore, which includes needing to refresh the app once a week wirelessly or wired via a computer running Altserver
If you’re buying new just go for 4k, you don’t have to use it, but it’s nice to have for in the future or any gaming you might do soon. I’ve noticed that new it’s cheaper to buy 4k with hdr than 1080p without. I saw a Sharp tv with 4k hdr10 for 299€. If you really want 1080p any thrift shop will have some tv stacked in a corner, just look up the model number and you’ll see most of them that don’t have giant bezels are 1080p50, which fits your needs. Older tvs dont require internet for alot of features, or they won’t work with internet anyway, so you won’t miss much. Good luck in your search!
I’ve heard great things about GrapheneOS, and I’m going to buy a pixel 7 pro soon just for that reason. I’m afraid I can’t help with your other issues.
I’m trying Arc browser right now, quite cool with support for firefox and chrome extensions, but the extensions all broke after a week. Crummy experience. Brave is the best AFAIK.
