The King is dead. Long live the King. The people going after these sites are just playing a game of whack-a-mole. New sites will always sprout up to fill in the gap.

True, and this time “The House” wasn’t the casino.
some of them are devilishly hard to master.
The Magmoor Bomb Jump energy tank in the original version of Metroid Prime wants to say hello.
I always wondered why a subreddit like that was allowed to exist in the first place. I guess I have my answer now.
What flavor is that boot you’re licking? Must be pretty tasty.
Accidental DisplayPort guy checking in. I didn’t even know it was a thing until I bought my graphics card. It seems like I dummied my way into some good tech.
Even a junk made-up answer would be an improvement over the results I recently got after trying both Google and DDG to search up a random question that came to me. I wanted to find a list of animals with vertical pupils, and all I got were pages with headlines like “Why do some animals have vertical pupils?” that didn’t answer my question or even the question in the headline!
When my mother was still around, any time I tried to open a jar after she’d gotten to it, I would destroy my hands and still not be able to get it open. I could wreck tendons, give myself blisters, try all the tricks mentioned in this thread, and those lids wouldn’t budge. It was like she found a way to weld metal to glass with her bare hands. By comparison, opening the factory seal was no effort at all.
I’m well aware. I’ve never had any trouble opening a factory-sealed jar.
All these people are complaining about how hard it is to open a jar, and I’m sitting here scratching my head because the only times I’ve ever struggled with jars was after someone closed them too tightly. Just don’t use a death-grip when you’re closing your jars and you’ll be fine unless you’re elderly or something.
If I had unlimited F You money, I would either leave Nebraska or sponsor some carpetbaggers from New York or California, preferably enough of them to sway the elections here.
Bro it’s just a battery, some motors, a computer, an IO system, and some brakes. An amateur with money and free time could rip the guts out of a traditional car and make it fully electric by following an online tutorial.
An AI art website I use illustrates your point perfectly with its attempt at automatic content filtering. Tons of innocent images get flagged, meanwhile problem content often gets through and has to be whacked manually. Relying on AI to catch everything, without false positives, is a recipe for disaster.
RSS was great. I’ve still got a deep grudge over the removal of Live Bookmarks from Firefox. That was how I kept up with the various webcomics I was reading at the time. All I had to do was just check on all my little orange drop-down menus to see if any new posts were up, and I was golden. Now I have to keep extra tabs open and try not to bury them under all the other tabs I open up and forget about. >_<
In this case it would be self-defense. The only reason anyone thinks otherwise is because the danger posed by a billionaire money hoarder is far more abstract than what most people are accustomed to.
I bought mine a few years ago, and I’m still on the original toner cartridge.
As a satisfied owner of a Brother laser printer, I can safely say I would never want anything else.
Ubuntu is a bit of a shit distro, but I still have a soft spot for it because it was my first Linux experience.
