As long as its a legit number that uses a popular carrier that supports modern protocols they should come through. I’d test it out yourself if you have any concerns.

Use Carrion from F-Droid and make it your screening app. Numbers that call you have to go through a verification that is mandated in the US & Canada. Numbers that fail this handshake verification will be rejected.
I’ve been using that bad boy for about 3 years continuously in my server and 1 year in my desktop. Surprised it hasn’t died on me yet, lol.
I do recall the thread linked and I think a few individuals whose sole purpose on the Gnome GitLab was insulting the Gnome maintainers were banned. Sometimes Gnome’s obsession with polish can be a double edged sword. I don’t think anyone on the Gnome team let’s merge requests die on purpose its just a lack of communication from them. Wish Gnome would take some risks with the DE with new features in the future.
I’m guessing you’re talking about something specific and if so could you link the pull requests or repository?
Last I checked the Flatpak is an old version of Proton VPN. Look up how to get the beta release for your distro to get the latest features.
Revolt and Mastodon aren’t even in the same ball park.
Most defining characteristic of race is different skin tones. Literally what racism is about. You don’t see people referring to races as their historical decent.
How are you supposed to know someones skin color from an IP? The word you’re looking for is xenophobic.
Compiling anything is a minority group even in the Linux community. Sounds like a massive headache.
I totally get that. I’d probably be the same way if my car was new enough to support android auto.
I plugged in my S21+ to my Google Pixel 7 and went to the browser installer on the S21+, took maybe 5 minutes to install. Graphene OS is dead simple unlike other roms. That’s why so many people use and recommend it.
Why not have more storage on your phone for photos or music and then have that backup to a server? I encourage you to try to recover data from your broken phone. Much easier to read data from a unencrypted HDD then take a phone apart and try to read the bytes off it. You just keep all sensitive data on your phone’s internal storage.
With Pixels you can install different ROMs or root your device to remove anything you want. Samsung doesn’t give you that choice. Also, Samsung software has gotten so buggy over the years to the point I don’t even use my Samsung anymore. Graphene OS is so light weight and stable compared to my S21+ with disabled bloatware and heavy battery optimization. Not to mention how hot Samsung phones get when using the camera.
Apps that you can not uninstall natively will not be uninstalled but “disabled” at boot. You can only remove bloatware if you have root access.
Who cares? You act annoying just like Foss fan boys.
You’re just as annoying as the people preaching Godot. Surely you see that.
I get where you’re coming from, really. I’ve been disappointed by Linux for years with the learning curve and random errors that no one can help with. I’d take a long break from anything server related and then once you think your ready to come back, go watch some videos that give you inspiration like Techno Tim. Try to make a game plan and stick to it. Use standard stuff like Debian and Proxmox for software and to get a head start try this. Wish you all the best mate.
I have never seen this pop up with UBO
