This is really interesting, but I guess I don’t fully understand it. Does this replace your ISP (like Comcast for example), or am I just reconfiguring my browser to access these sites and not send my traffic through the regular Internet?

I only got banned for 7 days and I said go fuck yourselves reddit. I was already trying to get off of it along with all socials, but I still feel the need to talk with strangers online so here I am on Lemmy. And yes, there is a learning curve with Lemmy.
