We cannot stop collecting data about you because collecting the datum that you want to stop having your data collected failed.
I wonder if the situation in Europe is different, where such bullshit is illegal.

I didn’t find that in the Twitter UI and wondered why OP thought it was an AI. Thanks for sharing.
The tweet: (Is the preview working for you? For me, it’s not).
The game is called geoguessing and those who do this regularly are crazy good at it, taking into account the kind of trees you see, where the sun and shadows are, even the color of the dirt and the pavement.
Tom Scott did something similar and was frightened too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGqEBvlmFAQ&pp=ygUSdG9tIHNjb3R0IGZvdW5kIHVz
Or – just a thought – you’re reasonably confident that the shit you wrote actually works.
Isn’t that also the shorter route, because you’re circling the Earth where it has less circumference?
Also the North Atlantic Tracks are there. Might also play a role.
Judging by eye on the map projection OpenStreetMap uses, the direct line between Japan and Hawaii is about one quarter of the westbound straight line between Japan and Hawaii.
Well, I just typed “1 gallon in liters” into google and took the first number, because I couldn’t be bothered to deal with your system of measurement more than necessary. My point stands regardless of the exact volume of one gallon.
OF COURSE THERE IS MORE THAN ONE DEFINITION OF GALLON
Imagine getting Diesel in Germany. “Sorry, that was actually 15 liters of regular gas. ¯_(ツ)_/¯”
Edit: Ok, it’s not as bad as I imagined, since this picture seems to be about E15/E10, not diesel/regular.
How fucking big are American canisters? In Germany the regular size is 5l, [Edit: just shy of a bit more than] one gallon.
Could someone enlighten me what Deus Ex is about without spoiling more than two hours of gameplay?
You vastly underestimate the tolerance of an average user who barely knows their way around a web browser and Word.
That’s when you set the intern’s IDE to preserve the line endings.
It’s not about feeling better. It’s about getting the other person to understand that Google exists and that they can use it, too. Too many people refuse to put in any effort of their own and go ask someone instead.
IMHO in that situation answering isn’t even the right thing to do, since it encourages that behaviour and prevents the asker from learning to find out stuff for themselves. Something about fishing for hungry people or so…
When someone is genuinely stuck, doing research themselves allows the answerer not to go down the same dead ends, which saves time for both.
You cannot even mark it as duplicate without providing a link to the answer. What are you talking about?
Peple misunderstand “Closed as duplicate” as an insult, when it’s just the hint to look at the provided link. If you didn’t find the answer previously, this just means there are multiple ways to express the problem, which use different words and thus don’t all find the same google result.
Yep, and align
isn’t a real property, either.
It’s a typo. The colon should be a semicolon. But since it’s the last declaration, it’s optional.
With a minimum wage job ($7.25/hr) you need to work about 5 to 13 hours per day to make that much – before taxes.
This is the main point of this post. The meme is just a means to gain attention. I believe people are more likely to consume meme posts than plaintext.
Thanks for pointing it out. I corrected the post.
Why the fuck would they name it PRISM?
