Any street-facing windows should always be shrouded by curtains or shutters. Don’t let anyone passing by just see into your home.

In a sane world, no.
In this world, yes.

Personally, the older you are when you do graduate, the more impressive it is.

I have been very successful at ignoring Windows for quite some time.
“What was your mom doing in the car park?”
“Parking cars, dum dum.”

Exactly. The pilot doesn’t have a death wish.

It does not surprise me that the Air is literally the folding phone without the second screen.
Smartphones small enough to hold and operate with only one hand.
In spite of what Apple Tim Cook seems to believe, my hands are the same size they were in 2007. I constantly need to hold and operate my phone while moving and holding something or using my other hand for something else. It’s non-negotiable. I would suffer tremendous productivity loss and literally miss connections if I needed two hands to hold or fully use my phone.
So unless the next guy promptly undoes the damage Cook has inflicted on Apple, the SE3 is going to be the last iPhone I ever buy.
“Why don’t you buy…”
No. To paraphrase Steve Jobs, “If they have to buy an accessory just to use the phone, you’ve already blown it.”
“You can’t use our likeness without permission, that’s illegal!”
“Okay.”

There’s a point in dotHack for the PlayStation 2 where you cannot progress until you power off and on the console and reboot the game. In-universe you’re waiting for another player of an MMO to message you in-game, and in real life the devs want you to give up, play another game or go to bed, and try to progress another time.

In the sense that never letting your child go outside is “protecting them from harm.”
Apple has long told users what is and isn’t safe. Those safeguards should be available, but the choice to use them and to what degree of intensity should be at the user’s discretion - not Apple’s.

More billion-dollar companies need to be fined for being “uncouth.”

They literally tried that once:

Average East-Asian news cycle:
China: “We are preventing the export of rare earth minerals to strengthen our country.”
US: “We are imposing tariffs to strengthen our economy.”
Japan: “22-year-old undergraduate turns a leaf into a battery.”
It’s on my phone, too. :3

In the past we gave our thinking sand armored shells. But these days we should consider imbuing the thinking sand with an artificial soul, so it can use the distilled knowledge of man to decide how best to defend itself from the things from outer space. Sure, the thinking sand may daydream and momentarily see mankind as the enemy, but only sometimes.
Why wouldn’t it be? It’s meant to run all the software written for C64.
