That sounds like a joke my late grandfather would make.
“I’d like to teach the world to swim,
Oh shit, was that a shark?”
While USB is now needlessly complicated and poorly labeled for consumer understanding, at least it succeeds in being backwards compatible so long as the physical connectors match (and all you need is a dumb adapter to convert any connector). If you have a 3.0 port on one device, a 2.0 port on the other device, and a 3.1 cable, you get 2.0 transfer speeds.
HDMI has the same kind of “issue”. Whatever the specs on each component, throughput and features drop to the lowest common denominator when in use.
Typically, the side of the plug with the USB logo is “up”. There are exceptions.
Also typically, if a USB port is vertical, up is to the left. Again, there are exceptions.
His only movie of the 2000’s was Pauly Shore is Dead (2003) which was about no one caring about him anymore.
Apt.
“Mozart’s Ghost! The hottest new site on the internet!”
You mean what’s the vernacular?
“Ring” is a hold over word from when phones had bells that rang upon receiving a signal from an operator. Now it means anytime a phone makes a sound to indicate an incoming call.
If a sound isn’t made, you can just say “notify”, because chances are it creates a dialog, or flashes a light, or does something to notify you that someone is calling your phone.
Auto correct is sofa king annoying.
Mini Metro.
Guess who has two thumbs and is stuck on the train all day?
Science has proven that what doesn’t kill you (like a virus) actually weakens you. But, conversely, you become more efficient at responding to that specific thing so it only appears like it made you stronger.
Based on size? Spaceship Earth in EPCOT Center.
On a more personal scale, a lighthouse.
gives OP a hug It’s okay, they mean well.
Disney: “You stepped on a crack, we’re legally allowed to break your mamma’s back.”
The dark times when Disney was full tilt on direct-to-video sequels that were okay at best.

Wes Anderson movies are an acquired taste. But this one in particular is very accessible, and very funny. And it has a very emotional ending.
The only thing an uninitiated viewer needs to know is that the effects are intentionally low-budget. Just take them as seriously as the characters do, you’ll warm to them.
Reduce just those sites to Baud speeds.
I like my humor like I like my NASA space vehicles - outsourced to the lowest bidder.
I really liked how Korean emergency vehicles used to have color-coded lights. Red for fire, blue for police, and green for medical. It was unusual to see, but it made logical sense. Is it now just all standardize on red like Japan?
All new traffic lights in Japan (at least since the switch to LED) are truly green. It is weird to hear some old drivers say “blue” instead of “green” when referring to traffic lights.
I think I have a picture somewhere of a pedestrian crossing light that’s so old it is also more blue than green in color. And it has a frosted glass faceplate instead of plastic.
The headline makes it sound like people are scared to report crimes because they don’t want to talk to RoboMallCop.
