That’s actually shopped. The game’s writer said he wishes he wrote that line, though.

Quake, not Doom. Doom didn’t use true 3D rendering and had almost no dynamic lighting.
Violet starts a romantic relationship with, and is implied to eventually marry, Gilbert, her former commanding officer in the military who was also her father figure, Violet having been a war orphan that Gilbert took in when she was 10. Violet was a child soldier from the ages of 10 to 14, at which time the war ended. Gilbert had faked his death at the end of the war because he had developed romantic feelings for Violet. Gilbert is 11 years older than her. By the time of the movie, Violet is 18 and Gilbert is 29, but he was in love with her when he was 25 and she was 14, and probably before that. This is portrayed as a romantic and happy ending.
It also goes against the show’s themes and messages about grief and moving on, but the above thing tends to overshadow that.
Violet Evergarden is an incredible show about grief. But wow, is the movie sketchy as all hell.
Depending on handwriting or font, commas may be more visible than spaces.
i once went on a two week tour to schools teaching the kids how to swear
I feel like this needs elaboration.
Nintendo has been the Apple of the video game world since the N64.
It was either in one of the books or an easily missed line in Halo 1, but the Halos actually don’t spin fast enough for the amount of surface gravity they have, implying artificial gravity is involved.
Conquering it in Crusader Kings is always a pain in the ass due to the Pope’s insane income.
But which one would be the most satisfying?
I’ll be doing both with Linux as my primary and Win10 as a compatibility fallback.
Multiplayer games and ones that require Uplay or Origin (can’t remember their new names) have issues, but most single player stuff will run fine. You’ll typically have to run them via Wine or Proton, but Steam will handle that for you.
You see this with video games, too, where PC games are better optimized when they’re multiplatform releases that also are on one or more consoles near the end of their sales life, just because they had to make it run smoothly on hardware that was comparatively out of date.
Yes, but you have to shake the cow pretty vigorously.
You could also watch Chappie, which is essentially the same concept but darker and more South African.
Some of those cut scenes are present on the DVD release. There’s one where Weaver’s character does a bit of a strip tease to disteact some aliens (the modification to her outfit is still in the movie, it just changes randomly between scenes) and another where Shalhoub’s character is explicitely confirmed to be high off his ass the entire movie.
they had a flyer that literally said “not S&P approved”
Also a recurring problem in ReBoot. The original network wouldn’t let them do a ton of stuff for often vague reasons or ones that implied something was deeply wrong with the person monitoring the show. There’s an article about all the absurdity.
Enable y-axis look inversion. Because which way was “normal” and “inverted” hadn’t been standardized when I started gaming and that’s what I learned.
It’s clearly ripping off Pocahontas, not Dances With Wolves.
