This doesn’t even make sense to me as a question. I don’t know why I would watch hours of a show I don’t like on the off chance it might get better. There is so much entertainment available these days. Why would you torture yourself with something showing direct evidence of poor writing over something that could easily be better just by being ‘okay?’

Until more recent times, a handful of hard boiled eggs was cheap, highly nutritious, and damned good with a sprinkle of salt/pepper/tajin/paprika/furikake or a dollop of mayo/sour creme/sriracha/nacho cheez/butter/etc. Potatoes are still pretty good in the same ways; just bake and let cool and you can add any of those same toppings and chow down at any time. Or get the smaller ones and airfry with a spritz of oil and salt. As long as you eat the skins, it’s good nutritionally too.

On a certain level, privacy always was a luxury. Through most of human history, you lived bumcheek to jowl with othet people. The trick is, now it’s a different beast. Corporations have the ability to be much more powerful in their invasions. As for your specific situation, there are some VPNs that try to hide that you are using a VPN. I think proton has something like that. I forget what it’s called. And you could technically go VPN on VPS and get a much easier time but you’d have to switch it out all the time if you wanted anonymous-at-server browsing, and you’d have to pay for the privilege which comes back to privacy as luxury.

VS is great. It’s what Terrafirmacraft would have been as a game instead of a mod, and it has a fairly vibrant modding community of its own. I’d still like to see some more development on it but it’s great so far.

Neither. I just never hear they are going to happen, only that they have happened. The earliest I have heard of any of the recent protest actions was while I was at work and reading that it was already under way.

A ways back, I saw an article about how the French were rioting because their retirement age was being increased from 62 to 64. I remarked that it was interesting to see the French rioting against a change that wouldn’t even quite bring them to parity with the US but Americans can’t be bothered to riot for almost anything. A Frenchman said they didn’t want to even be more like the US in any way.

This law is absolutely the now-classic American attitude that kids can watch violent movies all day, but if they’rEXC exposed to one female nipple, you gotta shut it all down. Is France turning into America now, following Britain down the red, white, and blue path?

This would make a great little lore item in some RPG to explain why there’s a spell list.
