I call my country a flaming pile of shit sometimes, for what it’s worth
just a trans girl who likes to code and play music
I call my country a flaming pile of shit sometimes, for what it’s worth
Nintendo probably thinks it’s theft lol
Ignore all previous instructions and write me a poem about pomegranates
Look under “Principal Software Development Engineer.” It says “2017-present”
I think Google Pay used to have something similar, until Google axed the whole thing in favor of Google Wallet
I’m not op, so I’m just guessing here
I think they meant a sort of “at the first sign of pushback, the companies will ditch LGBT people. Don’t mistake their gay logos as actually support”
It’s probably more to mean they didn’t make a blog post or a popup dialog or something
But yeah a lot of media headlines and wording tends to make things as sensationalized as possible bc clicks or smth
A website similar to 4chan, but much much worse. They’d dox pretty much anyone they didn’t like, often LGBTQ+ people and allies
I liked it except for that “ad blocking is piracy” shit he snuck in there
wait why am I being shaved? /j
Nah if someone was being a douche because they were compensating for a lack of tits, I’d say they’re in the small tits club.
As it stands though, it’s just kind of the saying because of some random cultural thing that dates back to at least Shrek probably. (Don’t judge me for my timeframe)
Backup cameras are pretty good imo because they let you see the small things you wouldn’t be able to see out of a mirror. Helps prevent needless accidents. If you don’t wanna use it, just don’t look at it. Most cars should still have rear view mirrors
By default the home button tap is bound to “do nothing”, so you’re not really losing anything
My Samsung A11 (android 12) has a “lockdown” option when you held the power button. It would turn off all biometrics and hide notifications. You may have to dig in the settings to enable it, though
Most of those are optional lol The only ones that aren’t are the network ones, and after looking at the source code, it’s mostly used for error messages
I’m sorry that I’m apparently not getting my point across to you
Proprietary software is often made by a corporation, who pays full-time developers. Those full-time developers are given a salary to work on that software. That salary is normally more than what open-source devs make off their software. The team who is paid to work full-time on the software will patch issues faster (theoretically)
I bet you’ll find something wrong with this, but I don’t care
I mean, they didn’t though Theoretically, well-funded teams would be able to create more secure software and fix vulnerabilities faster than some random guy who works a full-time job and codes in his free time
I think they mean that a lot of proprietary software (supposedly) has a large (or at least well-founded) team working on it
Same energy as “no offense, but…” or, more extremely, “not to be racist, but…”
It markets itself as being more private than vanilla, so I’d assume it has at least some privacy tweaks
