What a fucking ugly logo. They really fired everyone competent, didn‘t they?

I‘m also on the lookout for a cheap used one. The phase till planned obsolescence is surprisingly long with Apple as long as you have the tools to swap out the battery yourself. My wifes XS is still running great and thats a 7 year old phone by now. As soon as the batteries hit that 80% or lower degredation, they run like shit.
I‘m sure you could get at least another four years with updates out of it at the moment.
The iPhone 13 mini was the perfect size and if Apple would have used that as a base for their new SE instead of the shitty 16e, I would have bought it in a heartbeat. Just give me a thicc 13 mini with a good battery, camera and a new processor.
Yeah, why would I use BlueSky when I could just use my favorite platform named Threads?
Just kidding
Even if its only 1 in 1000 that bites, its worth it for them. Average wage in many of the countries these scammers come from is probably like 50-200 euros, so getting someone to transfer you their savings can give you enough money to live from for years. Obviously, most of that money goes to the person operating the scam.
Yes, its mostly older people that are alone that fall for this type of scam.
My sister-in-law works for a bank and she had a 70yo customer that sent multiple thousands of euros to a guy she has never met. They told her its a scam, but she insisted to send the money anyways. Her family had to watch her sending away all of her life savings.
Creating a fake relationship and then extracting money from people for example by getting them to invest money into fake crypto trading places.
Of course, its just an open source LLM that you can run on open source software like Ollama or LoLLMS
I was the founder of r/TIHI in a past life and u/spez removed all of us moderators because we weren‘t opening the sub as part of our protest.
I them requested them to take down the subs title picture and logo which I created and they didn‘t even bother.
No, but a lot of them are apologists for tech bros.
They probably don‘t want to loose the incel people in their audience
I think locally only, LibreOffice is a fork of OpenOffice.
There was a German social network a few years ago that did exactly that (before Facebook was available in German)
They had SchülerVZ for kids/teens, then they had StudiVZ for university students and finally they had MeinVZ for adults. The problem was, that they weren’t interconnected at all apart from the option to move your account to the next platform. So if you were just starting to study but you still had friends that were in school, you could’t keep in touch with them.
In Germany, the traditional Toast Hawaii has a cherry on top. It was invented 7 years before the Pizza Hawaii, so it could likely be that the pizzerias back in the day were orienting their recipe more on the original than today.
Pizza Hawaii is actually based on the idea of a German TV cook called Clemens Willenrod, who invented the famous Toast Hawaii in 1955, 7 years prior to the first Pizza Hawaii.
I think you can use Amazon as a distributor if you are keeping your inventory at their warehouses. They handle all the logistics. It‘s called „fulfilment by amazon“.
Ummm, I have seen the documentary „For all mankind“ on Apple TV and I‘m pretty sure that multiple people died on mars already.
The German government already has their own mastodon instance on social.bund.de
Much better alternative to a EU funded social network, as this would automatically drive critics to the assumption, that politicians are controlling the narrative and deleting critical content. Also supports the development of open source and self hosted alternatives this way.
Hope you grounded your hardware to the wood.
„Palatschinken“ is what they call it in Austria. In Germany it‘s mostly called „Pfannkuchen“ (which is the literal translation of Pancakes)
Now comes the confusing part: In East Germany, they call it „Eierkuchen“ (Eggcake) and they call what West Germans know as „Berliner“ or „Krapfen“ (The filled donut without a hole) „Pfannkuchen“
So Pfannkuchen means totally different things depending on where you are in Germany.
