You can do that with the 9 volt batteries and feel how much “tingle” they have, but never heard of it working with aa batteries. Wouldn’t he have to stick the whole thing in his mouth to complete the circuit?

I think she’s gotten a few jobs off there in the past but she’s always on the hunt for better/ more stable gigs. I’ll have a chat with her and find out for sure. Thanks for the tips

Thanks for the tips. I know she’s been looking at some other places as well and she has gotten a few jobs here and there but nothing major. She’s gone to school for video editing and she’s pretty good at it (fatherly bias kicking in here) but she’s always looking for something to help fill in her time.

That’s my thought on it as well. I only knew she was on that site a little while ago and right off the bat the address sounded off to me so I started digging in to it only to find that whoever is running it REALLY doesn’t seem to want anyone to know who they are, which is raising all sorts of alarm bells in my head, but my daughter is insisting “lots of youtubers go there looking for jobs.”

That means nothing to me, because I know how easy it can be to look like a busy legit site when the reality is anything but. And the fact that whoever is running it is actively trying to hide their info is very concerning to me.

Reading that I had to check my area, and it’s a whopping 1518 people in 205.11 square miles or about 7 people per square mile. You got us beat by a long shot.

I don’t know if my energy levels had anything to do with adhd or if it was just a unrelated companion, but I’ve always been that way. Sugar was banned in my house I think because my mother thought I’d implode if I got my mitts on any. I couldn’t even sit long enough to watch a whole movie from start to finish until I was in my 30’s.

Sitting still and not being bored senseless. I was a hyperactive kid with adhd, having to sit anywhere for more than 10 minutes was the bane of my existence.

Oh ya, it’s fine… It took a while to get used to having slightly shorter fingers, and it feels weird as hell when you bump things with them without the normal fingertip padding (Now it’s just skin and bone hitting things) but I’m used to it.

By sticking them where they didn’t belong… kind of hard to explain but I was working on a friend’s lawn mower and lost my balance, I tried to push against the mower to hold myself up but my hand slipped, kind of bounced off the ground and the mower blade managed to catch them.

It didn’t really hurt but I was more mad at myself for it happening. I brought the fingertips to the hospital but they were kinda smooshed, and they had to take a bit more bone out of my fingers so that they’d have enough skin to close it up.

Kidney stones. I’ve had the tips of two fingers on my left hand chopped off, and even that didn’t come close to the feeling of a kidney stone rattling down the pipework.

I have Medullary sponge kidney, which in short makes my kidneys a stone factory. It’s a love/hate relationship at this point. On the plus side, I’ve found drinking at least 2 liters of lemonade every day has done wonders to stop my kidneys from feeling like they’re trying to kill me all the time.

When I was a kid I had a record player and usually played a particular record that had various artists on it Like Johnny Horton (Battle of New Orleans) and Elvis Presley (Blue Suede Shoes).

Now 40+ years later, it’s usually stuff like Frog Leap Studios (Leo Morrachelli https://www.youtube.com/user/leolego/videos) mainly so I don’t have to hear my cats screaming around the house in their nightly turbo mode.

I still like Johnny Horton, but anything from Elvis makes my eye twitch.
