It sounds like you are implying you have entered a wide range of fields and can speak for multiple industries about typing.

To me it seems like you have done many entry level positions which yes, most require a lot of typing. I know it’s hard to imagine but there are a lot of blue collar jobs that use computers but don’t care if you type fast. Did you know the mechanic that changes your oil uses a computer?

I don’t know your age or your skill at typing but I can tell you look down on people who type with 2 fingers.

I have never learned to type correctly and have been using 2 fingers my whole life. Yes it’s slower than if I had learned but I have never felt slowed by it not have I ever been told my performance is lacking because of it. I don’t even really look at the keyboard anymore when I type because I memorized where the keys are. Much like you do on a phone I know where all the keys are and I type fast.

I know you can’t imagine it but hunt and peck would describe a person that had never seen a keyboard. That’s not how many people type.

Just because you can’t imagine it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. There are plenty of jobs that use computers but you don’t need to transcribe anything. In my job we use excel a ton. I only need to type a few sentences. The rest is copy paste and using formulas. I do just fine with 2 fingers.

Granted I type pretty fast even like that and don’t have to look at the keyboard much to type. Mostly just to reposition my hands from time to time. Much like you would on a phone.

The issue isn’t the fine. Amazon is breaking numerous federal laws by not managing what is being shipped by 3rd party sellers. They are violating several FAA regulations on thousands of packages daily. At some point they will have to put a plan in place to vet these packages and that will be EXTREMELY costly. We will see a dramatic shift in how Amazon does business in the near future.

Art 100% needs copyright. There is a reason forgery is a crime. Copyright is meant to protect small creators. Yes it is being abused by corporations but the idea that we don’t need it is absurd. Stealing someone’s work and selling as your own is fraud. Plain and simple.

Copyright protects creators and prevents monopolies from abusing the system. Imagine you write a movie to sell and Amazon steals that exact movie but uses their resources to market it as their own and sell over seas.

Another example is assuming companies act in good faith to protect the market. History has shown that not only do corporations NOT care about rules and regulations but they actively act in the interests of investors and profits.

It is up to the courts to fix the abuse of the current copyright system and unfortunately they also act in the interests of profits.

Why ends up happening is you skim the top employees and are left with the bottom of the barrel that performs even worse because they are in a state of fear and discomfort.
