The auctions companies bid on and win have provisions in them that require companies to utilize the spectrum in X years. They must supply coverage if they bought the spectrum; they can’t sit on it.
Old Toys r Us was mostly just a warehouse vibe anyways. But it had a big box store level of toys to look over. It was the highlight of my childhood trips to the stores. They don’t really need to pretend to be the old FAO Schwarz.

Local place was only $2 more: $17.50 vs $16.
It’s pretty much the same to order delivery from local or nicer places these days rather than the big chains.

Sounds like journalists can just make shit up and publish it. “Telsa declined to comment.” so I guess it’s true until corrected.
The fact a car was approved that doesn’t have a manual way to open doors from inside and outside and start it is ludicrous. That’s basic-ass level shit. NHTSA is asleep at the wheel.

Neato@ttrpg.networkto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Why are Republicans/Conservatives embracing fanaticalism these days?English283·1 year agoWe have never rejected fanaticism.
The revolution was built on fanatical ideas and ideals of American exceptionalism and where was propaganda to support that.
The civil was started primarily because the wealthy didn’t want to give up free labor (slaves) but a lot of individuals supported it because they felt the big scary northern government was attacking their homes and they had to defend them and their way of life (still, slavery,).
Pretty much every war is sold based on fanaticism. The Spanish American war was wholesale created by yellow journalism. The world wars were a bit different because America was very isolationist then and it needed a push.
Overall America isn’t an exception here. Most humans need to be fanatical to really do big things like war or revolution.

Affairs deal with emotional or sexual relationships. Donating sperm precludes any relationship with the recipient in all but the most personal of situations. I.e. you donate your sperm to a friend.
And in donations you don’t retain parenthood rights I believe. So it’s a question of who gets to control your body and the answer is only you.

Good? Even if Tesla wasn’t shit it’s probably for the best if one company doesn’t make up the majority of an industry.
And normally this would be good for Tesla as it’d indicate the industry is growing a lot. So even if they aren’t most of it their total sales would probably increase.
