“It depends” is a good answer, and is in line with me questioning the above comment.
Here’s a link to a recent huge worldwide study: https://survey.stackoverflow.co/2024/work#salary

I prefer to use statisics rather than anecdotal evidence. The stack overflow survey shows full stack pretty far down:
Why would you think full stack developers make more money in general?
The crook is probably tired though.
“A”.reverse() === “A”
Might be because I’ve been reporting all sponsored content as spam.
It’s under ctrl now.
It’s even worse when you can tell they really tried and still end up with spaghetti. Even mid- to senior developers do this. Rhe more senior they claim to be are, the more embarrasing when you have to get the stick.
Some people try to be so clever with fancy design patterns or bit-tricks, instead of just solving the problem, you now have two problems and a solution to one of them.
Interesting typo. Almost like a Freudian slip but with melting batteries instead.
Ah interesting. I didn’t know that was possible!
How did you login to apps in your phone? Go to the computer and open Firefox? Bitwarden on the phone integrates into the apps directly.
Sweden
They don’t require it, you can also go to a physical office if you don’t have BankID. Also BankID is a private company wo is problematic on several levels.
Many government agencies have started accepting multiple ways to identify yourself such as Freja.
Some politicians would prefer a standardized governmental solution to identity.https://www.dagensps.se/bors-finans/kinberg-batra-infor-statlig-bank-id/
I’m not so sure about that though.
It’s an ongoing topic. We’ll see more where it goes.
The market would open wide for filling aeevices, where you bring your own reusable bottle. Also, water should be free and not put in bottles at all.
It’s unfair to blame capitalism when the state obviously failed (even if through lobbying) to deliver clean water. Other countries have no such problems. Water is basically free where I live.
We have huge taxes on single use bags, and more taxes are coming.
It’s actually the company’s problem. They usually opt to add more debt though, rather that wade through the old stuff.
In the end, all software sucks and should be replaced as soon as possible. Code quality is a lie we tell ourselves so that we can sometimes be proud of our work. It’s usually the code we are most proud of that is the worst. Design patterns everywhere making the vode overly convoluted and “future proof”. The only future proofing that happens is that no-one will understand it, so they won’t change it. Trying to design for the future usually makes it harder in the future.
“Never install, carry or handle”. OK but what are they for then?
I guess that wouldn’t help the deaf people though. (:
Most data can be de-anonymized with some clever tricks. I don’t know about Mozilla but the others definitely try to keep it just anonymous enough to later be correlated with the rest of your profile.
Edit: typos
No any self hosted isn’t on the radar. By big, they mean the centralized giants, i.e. Meta, Google, Telegram, Signal(?) etc.
That’s not how pricing works. They already have the price they think makes them the most money. Raising prices means losing customers to competition, netting a loss.
So they would just lose 1000 customers and not raise the price because that would mean an even higher loss.
It’s different, of course when including that all ISPs would be hit with this. One can only speculate what will happen. All those pirates will want alternative ISPs, probably paying extra for privacy. The rest will stay in a dying market where competition for the remaining customers would be fierce, probably with lower prices.
