Considering the Nothing phone next

My 2 was amazing, it lasted me years and worked so well with minimal bloat. I went for the 10pro this time and it’s not the same. The camera’s phenomenal but it’s now two years old and just not holding up well. Glitches like crazy and the battery’s starting to die. Can’t distinguish it from any other phone now

Oneplus have paired with Hasselblad, if you’re looking for something with a good camera. I regret the phone because the quality has gone downhill over the generations but the camera is on point

Even as someone relatively comfortable with computers, Linux intimidates me. I want to use it but there’re so many variations and it’s a massive rabbit hole to go down; I just don’t have the time or energy to spend several days getting it set up how I want it and fixing any errors that I cause

And if you throw up, don’t brush your teeth as you’re then just scrubbing stomach acid into them. Rinse and gargle with water then brush an hour later

Yes, that’s another reason. I’m reliant on the app for the device to function - if they stop supporting it, the company goes bankrupt, my wifi cuts out - I now have a very expensive piece of plastic.

I’ve been looking for a breast pump recently - I’d like electric so I don’t have to manually pump. All of the ones I could find in the shop required an app to connect to the device. Why? What purpose does that serve me? I’d have to make an account, accept needless permissions and cookies and give them access to very personal data about my boobs and milk production - I went with a manual one instead

In my experience, English humour is also dry, sarcastic and/or satirical, it seems to be American humour that doesn’t pick up on the dry jokes.

But yeah, also the language barrier hits hard.
