I’ve licked the frog twice! How many does it take?
Just your average urban druid interested in technology and quantum field theory.
I’ve licked the frog twice! How many does it take?
I wish more people would realize this! We’re years away from a truly reasoning computer.
Right now it’s all mimicry. Mimicry that hallucinates no less…
How would that support “First Sale Doctrine”?
While you’re there make damn sure they create a coherent naming scheme that allows upgrade paths/versioning.
Sincerely,

Put on some headphones and de-stress to a seamlessly looped track of walking in the rain. No footsteps, music, etc. Just a stereo mic moving through an environment capturing exquisite aural details.
All vehicles have an auto-sensor that detects when the steering mechanism is turned past a certain point and activates the fucking turn signal. Deactivates it once the steering mechanism returns past that point.
It’s that t-229 can have its nucleus excited using far less energy than regular atomic clock nuclei.
That leads to ultra precise excitation using wavelengths that cancel out some of the fundamental forces within the atom.
That leads to us being able to monitor at a trillion to one ratio those forces based, in part, on mathematical ‘constants.’ In the excited state we can measure if there’s even the smallest variance in force, which in turn may mean that some ‘constants,’ aren’t.
However the real testing of that is in the future as they estimate that a 10 trillion to one ratio is needed.
Theory described a door, research defined the door and possibly what’s behind it, and experimentation just opened the door.
“Let’s face it: If you’re over the age of 50 ‘Healthy’ is just a pre-cancerous condition.” — Drew Hastings, Comedian
That’s oddly specific, but I’m glad you all made it home safely!
Hell yes! We Americans are raised believing that we’re exceptional. That led to Trump. (It’s being used to propagate lies/misinformation.)
Dig into any discussion you want. Be prepared to learn, but call out lies when to see them. Thanks!
Did you reply to the wrong post, or maybe super high?
The cruise sounds like a hell of a good time, but your reply has zero to do with Bees v Lions. 🤓
There you go proving that “Fun Facts” seldom are.
Astrum is in of my favs! The other is History of the Universe.
“cmdrtaco”
Now there’s a name I’ve not heard in a great long while…
Time…is a very strange thing.
The term my husband uses is, “Buy it nice, or buy it twice!”
Bartholomew left, to return to his home planet, I assume. I didn’t find that search history until afterwards.
As far as I can tell Cats are an alien species that are apparently from at much hotter planet.
That tracks with: how much heat they generate, how they just zoom around the room at odd times (shedding excess body heat?), and why on warms days they still lay in direct sunlight.
I hope he’s found happiness.
CRAB!
My hubs loves them so I get to sit across the table and listen as he brutally cracks open his food.
You know what they do with the legs, yeah?
