I missed that part xD
Just with the rant thought of the root of this problem, and that is the general populace and how they use it xD
21, male Dutch chap who spends too much time with British people and the internet xD

Just keep in mind that installing an app via the respective app stores (just install, not custom settings) is often the limit of what people can, and are willing to do.
People just simply don’t have the time, willpower and/or knowledge to get a controlled LAN working. It’s similar to how you don’t expect everyone being able to fly a helicopter, or build a car from scratch.
To clarify, as youve not understood the joke, nor read the comments. As far as I understand it, were you to start sailing at the first point, you never have to turn to arrive at the second. That’s why it’s “straight”. On the 2d plane you are completely correct however.
For proper and better informed explanations read the other comments :D
On that last part, theres a difference between elevating a file to admin, and being an admin in Windows.
In a lot of cases the ui is GREATLY simplified when not an admin, to the point where you might only have like 20% of all available options.
For the standard user? Great! Not when you’re messing around with permissions.
It’s why you ALWAYS log in as Admin when setting up a windows server. Iirc you can’t even install tiles without actually being an admin, even if you have all logins.
From my experience with windows, your current guess is correct btw :D
That’s intended. Even to premium subs youtube pushes adds which try and promote engagement. Its fucking awful.
Does get me out of the loop sometimes though, so I guess Im thankful for that.
To add, I personally have had all of the complaints of digital keyboards happen to physical ones. Just not the removal of the numpad. The others, wordt of which is lag, Ive had plenty. Input lag IS THE WORST.
For those who are completely clueless, this is meant as satire
If you’ve already got that much of a set-up to guarantee privacy, it’s a very good point. Most people aren’t that dedicated to privacy (I think), but it’s still a very valid point in your case
Point one: I’m pretty certain they already track that. With or without account. And you’re on the internet, without a VPN there is no privacy. You are also able to remove that history any moment you want. Is it Ideal? No. But you should’ve acted 10-15 years prior if you wanted to stop this. It’s still not ideal though.
Point two: I agree. There does need to be space for them to repent, but they aren’t actively trying to, so don’t trust them (see the next point as an example of that).
Point three That’s a shame. They really need to fix that, though with how corpos do things nowadays, not sure that’ll happen.
Point four: That’s normal, expected and a reasonable business decision. Most of these features they likely added after premium, and they’re meant as incentives. Why else would you want to but their premium, if not for the added features?
Point five: This is shitty and mostly inexcusable behaviour. It’s god awful, and they really shouldn’t do it. I do have to play devil’s advocate a little. They are fully, 100% in their right to do this. If you don’t like it, vote with your wallet (and time). If we stop using their services, they’ll stop making it worse. They are still A-holes for doing it though.
Oh, shit. x.com = twitter, it’s not Xcom (the game series) xD | That took me waaay to long to realise lol
Didn’t know the fenomenon had gotten an actual name! Thanks for sharing it with me!
I hope you’re joking… I really, really hope your being sarcastic rn…
I’m more aiming at the fact that protesting, the thing unions do to make changes happen, is illegal in a couple of states. Just straight up.
Aside from that I do live in Europe, so I’m a little uninformed of current laws against protesting
Technically sure. But what can unions do? What actual power do they have that they matter?
That’s still a quite high position, so while yes, you’ve got a very good point. His still stands :D
Thanks! I didn’t get it at first xD
To explain the more intuitive, I am literally incapable of using Fahrenheit, and it means fuck all to me. Thus my intuition is incapable of using it, and thus Fahrenheit isn’t naturally understandable. Granted, Celcius isn’t either.
How about just slipperyness? The fact that you can’t farm and thus have no reliable food source? The fact your water souce disappears?
I’ll admit, no method of measurement is perfect as biomes changes too drastically. This doesn’t mean Fahrenheit is better though. It’s not more intuitive, it’s not better at actual measurements, and it’s not as accepted by society ('cause people way smarter than me did find Fahrenheit worse than Celcius (see any above high school science/engineering))
Below 0 means dangerous. That’s something that F doesn’t do clearly.
Does anybody know how this will affect the EU?
