I don’t mean to belittle your feelings about it, but I would find that cute af. There are certainly people around you that would feel the same.
One thing I had to learn was that if I asked someone out and they said no or didn’t reciprocate wasn’t a loss or rejection.
Not only that, but you dodged a bullet. I thank women when they respectfully reject me. It’s awesome.
Also, think about all the times you were turned down. Does any of that matter now?? Nope. No one involved cares at all if they even remember. I think something that might help with this is for OP to place themselves in a position where they reject others. They could experience the other side and see that it’s not a bad thing. It’s just that they think it’s not for them and nothing else. And even in the rare chance that the rejection is seen as something else by the rejecting person, then even better because that’s not just dodging a bullet but dodging an artillery shell.
Maybe it’s not that you can’t be what someone else wants, but that you aren’t finding or building relationships with the people that would want you. There are so many people with such vasts tastes, that there is someone for everyone, even serial killers or 40 year olds that dress in diapers. Whatever you are, there are people that are looking for that. It’s a matter of finding and building a relationship with them. ♥️
If it were me, I would call an exterminator. Anything under $200 would be totally worth not having to deal with it and knowing that they’ll take care of it better than I could.
Spiders in general is one thing, but a ton of black widows is something I wouldn’t mess with. Those spiders could make you quite sick if not ending up in the hospital. Shieeeet. If you’re of a vulnerable population like elderly, young, or already sick, they could kill you.
A few number of spiders throughout the house is ok as long as they stay away from me. A ton of black widow spiders is an absolute no from me, dawg.
You saw ads on reddit, but they were disguised as posts and comments from “real” users.
Step 2: Don’t stop stop doing it
Singapore sounds like a really cool, safe, clean, organized, and hi-tech city, but their laws and enforcement seems a bit extreme to my American self. I both want to visit and am scared of visiting.
I like the smell of moldy houses. I’ve been told it’s a health hazard, so I don’t engage or encourage it, but when people excuse the smell in their residence, I tell them I like it.
You would hate my house. I clean with straight vinegar since it’s antibacterial and food. I’m cleaning with something that I can eat rather than toxic cleaners.
My Latin-American upbringing hurts reading this. I loveeee lavender smell. I’ve associated it with cleanliness.
The helium makes it float, so they got a guy to rub his spit on the rocket using his finger, but that process takes a long time so we’re just refilling the rocket in the meantime until we find it.
Maybe no one else will find this funny, but I do. My parents were Cuban immigrants to the USA. My uncle in particular was in his prime dating age when I was a little kid, so he would play the hits when I was around. Since he didn’t know English yet, he would just guess the sounds the singers were making when he sung along. For that reason, I thought the chorus to a song was “spoon apurataaaa” and that songs didn’t need to make sense. The singers could just make noises representing their feelings rather than use actual words. It wasnt until much later and a bunch of bullying in middle school that I learned almost all popular songs are based on words and “spoon apurataaaaa” was actually “smooth operator”. Til this day, I still think of a spoon when I hear Smooth Operator by Sade.
Jozef
I think it’s actually Iosif. His name is spelled as Иосиф in Cyrillic.
и = i
o = o
c = s
ф = f
why would anyone care what his followers call it?
I mean, you guys made it into a literal lottery.
Exactly! Those people were drafted and sent to fight an unpopular war in a country that most of them didn’t even know existed until then. The rich were able to dodge it by paying off the right people and others had to leave as political refugees. I think that a lot of Americans learned to fear mandatory government service due that policy.
Effectively it’s slave labour for the poor and pay so you don’t need to do it for the rich.
The story of human society continues as normal.
Oh wow, soooo interesting! For me, it’s the government forcibly taking control of a year of your life. I’m not saying that my perspective is correct. It’s just that that’s how I see it. I voluntarily served 4 years in the American military, so I’m not opposed to government service. I guess maybe my American mistrust of government is what’s making me apprehensive of the policy. It’s like I fear that the federal government will misuse it while also taking a major formative year of its citizens’ lives. Moreover, even if the government tries its best to make ethical decisions, I don’t think government is capable of making those decisions. It’s too bloated and compromised by the selfish goals of politicians and elites. Thinking it through for this comment, I would be more comfortable with the government providing incentives for 18 year olds to contribute public service by providing extra benefits such as college tuition, home loan guaranty, preferential hiring for government jobs, so it might be the mandatory part that is the main factor driving my concern. Btw,…woahhh, I’m having a moment since I never expected to be so American with my politics because I generally swing quite left, even for those outside of the USA.
What’s the perspective you guys have on it? How do you see it? Is it something like, “This is a good policy because citizens should contribute to their country and government is an appropriate avenue to decide how to do so and enforce this?” I would love to hear how you guys generally see it because this seems like an interesting clash of cultures. I look forward to your response 😀
wtfffff. even for my American butt, that sounds crazy. a government forcing its citizens to conduct a year of national service strikes me like some medieval or fascist level stuff.
I think they meant that as a joke. Obviously, even if someone had extraordinarily large breasts, they could just peek over them or move them to side.
