If you’re American try other countries chocolate. I help fix people’s cars and make them only pay for parts. I have a shit vehicle I can give to them while it happens. I give my neighbors rides. I jump the cars, I air up their tires. I donate to food not bombs, and I feel like I should volunteer there. Feel free to ask for car advice, worst case I say I don’t know :)

Tl:dr if all you’re doing is looking at the peak/minimum times of year it can seem better. The hole “breathes” and they’re getting delayed.

I work on diesel trucks, they create a lot of N0x. This article talks about how N0x being bad. It’s a niche thing but I at least understand why I tend to see these things first.

I do have arguments against all of what you said. But the funniest one is definitely the ozone layer.

Also ozone layer isn’t doing great, there are race riots still, there is threat of nuclear war with Russia existing in its current state, a lot of rights are threatened and a lot of people want to return to a time before women’s suffrage. I haven’t looked up anything on infant mortality, but I imagine with abortion band happening that will also change for the worse.

The main problem I think most people have with “conservative humor” isn’t the fact it exists, but how aggressive they are in “advertising”. .333… Is a third. That’s just a quirk of base 10. If you go to a different number system you won’t run into that particular issue.

The most common other base people know of is binary. Base 2. So in binary the fraction would be 1/11 and then 1/11(binary)=1/3(base 10).

I remember talk back in the day that base 12 is good for most common human problems. Some people were interested in trying to get people to switch to that.

Lol yeah, I’ve worked in a dealership. I was fine with it till my foreman got fired because he took all the blame from customers instead of staff.

Anyways when they were interviewing his replacement I started looking for a new job. I got into it with him because he wouldn’t even listen to anyone talk about pay raises.

I have Ford hybrid manuals. It won’t do you much good on the cost of the tools to work on them. Best advice on hybrids is to learn how to disconnect your battery before servicing your vehicle.

I have memory issues and so when I’m doing something more complex than muscle memory I write it down. So I don’t trust myself on specific memory tasks, like phone numbers.

For context I work on trash trucks and salt trucks. What are you doing that’s making zip ties cut into wires? I need to make sure that the wire harness that runs along the body above and next to the drive shaft that will spin everything the trucks run over. If the harness is loose the cable will get caught in the debris.

If you’re working in a server room with lots of wires I can see the utility of those fabric fasteners. I don’t get the luxury of the wires only moving when I touch them.

How is Paracord better for cable management?
