I pay for YouTube because I hate ads and I use the music service heavily… I also pay (A LOT) for a MotoGP subscription, but that’s sports, and unless I’m awake when there’s a race being pirate streamed I’d be sol.

Most of the MotoGP races are posted to Broadcasthenet, just saying.
I’ve considered it a few times but they are raising the price so quickly year after year that it will be untenable in a couple of years anyway.
I usually watch YouTube through a laptop that blocks ads.
The YouTube ads are still annoying on my phone, etc., but not nearly as bad as Spotify (unusable).
Android? If so, install PersonalDNSFilter. Haven’t seen a youtube ad in I really have no idea how long.
There are third party options for your phone. Just research it.
