I like to read in the dark, and a black OLED screen with white text is so much more comfortable than even an e-ink screen for me.
LCDs are good for price, I guess. All my big monitors are LCD, but phone has to be OLED.

It’s a holdover from old BBS forum style.
When you reply to an ancient thread, it immediately gets pushed to the top of the board. Now everyone basically is wondering what this 5 year old topic is doing on the first page. And they might have to read through several pages of messages to understand what the hell the newest reply is about because nobody remembers the topic in the first place.
With Reddit/Lemmy, the upvote system means it really doesn’t matter at all if you reply to an ancient thread, it won’t jump to the front page for anyone.
Haha as if that will stop Trump
Than half of LLM users? Probably
I can guarantee you that 95% of car owners don’t know the name of the CEO of their car company. Most people who bought Teslas years ago didn’t know or care who Elon Musk is.
You know, I always expected Tesla to be the first to do this kind of shit, but never underestimate Stellantis’s commitment to be at the bottom.
Are you calling her fat?
Because every time a manufacturer releases a small phone, nobody buys them.
“natural” movement and the Uncanny Valley might be the next biggest hurdle actually.

He’s best buds with the fascist-in-chief this time.
Nissan could have been better positioned for EV but they didn’t bother actually doing anything with the Leaf for a decade.
Kinda like how they could have been a high performance brand with the GTR if they bothered to actually do any more development on it for the past decade.
Would Twitter be any worse if 100% of the posts were AI generated?
It’s more bestester
Somehow I always come back to this video
Noice. I am definitely waiting until 2028ish before upgrading my phone, if not a bit longer.
Typewriters were not designed for ergonomics at all. They were made to make mechanical levers attached to the keys functional.
The up-angled keys are basically just a relic of mechanical design that people got used to. Like the QWERTY layout, which is also designed for mechanical function of a bunch of tiny levers swinging at a piece of paper, it’s actually designed to slow down typing speed and is also terrible for ergonomics.

Negative tilt is the actual ergonomic position.
Much like QWERTY, keyboards are designed with positive tilt for no reason other than “it’s always been that way” and “people got used to it”
Yeah I’ll be honest, I surprised myself when I bought my EV and my odometer went up a whole lot faster than it used to
My previous car wasn’t easy on gas so I instinctively used it sparingly. With my EV I actually do drive a lot more and I’m volunteering to be the driver for group trips and stuff much more often…
