Just a guy doing stuff.

I run my pi-hole on a dedicated Pi, and I pull the updated image first without any trouble. Then after the updated image is pulled, recreating the container only takes a few seconds.
Dunno what’s broken about your setup, but it definitely sounds like something unusual to me.
I tend to write anything for distribution in Rust or something that compiles to a standalone binary. Python does not an easily redistributable application make lol
For flash I think you’re describing Ruffle
Rust libraries are statically linked by default yes, except for a couple of rather low level ones (glibc and a couple others I think) - Honestly though I’d be surprised if you come across a situation where it’s something necessary to think about in practice
rust is both high and low level
I like to describe this as “low level language with high level ergonomics”
Sounds like you want the Rust Book: https://doc.rust-lang.org/book/
Edit: Just realized you said you didn’t like it sorry
WINE is open source, so it’s not stealing to use it
I almost instinctively downvoted you
Forgejo is a drop in replacement
Forgejo (a gitea fork) is a better choice for FOSS, can’t remember why.
I’m a fan of Alacritty, it’s written in rust and uses GPU rendering to be one of the fastest terminals on the planet. Sounds odd but genuinely makes a difference
Truly in a clbottom of its own
Well that’s easy to remember!
Mine folds in half, so that’s kinda cool
I’ve used a Z Fold 4 for two years now and it’s been the best phone I’ve ever had. Desktop versions of websites, on my phone, without feeling cramped. Two apps side by side, both roughly the size of a usual phone screen. Huge screen for retro emulation using a Bluetooth controller. All with still having a small screen for one handed use and more traditional scrolling.
Games like Hearthstone, Gwent, Chess, Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition, Roller Coaster Tycoon Classic, feel way more playable.
At this point, using any other device feels limited and cramped in ways that a big screen doesn’t.
My only complaint has been price, and I only got mine because my company paid for it
Could also have air bags for hauling
There are some apartment buildings with shared Internet connections that are just open and public; It’s crappy but cheap if someone can’t afford individual connection
There aren’t any immediate drop in replacements that won’t require some work, but there is Home Assistant Voice - It just requires that you also have a Home Assistant server setup, which is the more labor intensive part. It’s not hard, just a lot to learn.
