I just spotted the first logic error.

Every time someone organically refers to their computer as an Apple or Mac, an Apple marketing executive creams their pants.
I have only lived with this 49" monitor for about 3 weeks now. It’s oled, better than my previous 32" Samsung, but not a huge improvement - mainly better blacks. My work flow was 3 monitors with 3 different applications: file/folder/misc - browser | IDE - Inspector. With one monitor I pulled inspector into the browser and split the screen with my IDE. It’s much nicer, workflow wise.
Also versus a multi-monitor setup, I think it’s mostly superior, although I do prefer having vertical side monitors. It’s less power and less draw on my card. My GPU is basically getting the same FPS ( maybe 10 FPS less) for running in 5120 by 1440p. I haven’t tried anything demanding yet, Hell Let Loose ran around 60+ FPS. - currently playing Divinity 2 @ Ultra with an old 5700 and getting between 60-70 FPS.
But a nice 32"+ single monitor also works very well, if you don’t need a large space to work in. IMO if you need that 3 monitor setup, it’s worth it.
I recently picked up a 49" MSI OLED monitor and it has a built program to prevent burn in. I’ve only had it for a week, but it’s so much better than 3 monitors imo. I used it mainly for work, and a little gaming. No issues with either.

African or European?

The first time I used Claude, I asked for a simple one page calculator. It made an entire website, complete with navigation and an about us page, and a css style sheet.

At my current job, I use AI frequently.
But it’s nowhere near replacing me. It’s like having a 12 year old intern that’s an inexperienced genius.
It’s great for saving me 10 minutes to write out some simple HTML or structured data. But it’s definitely not perfect and tends to add unnecessary changes, I constantly have to review and add new rules.
So I don’t think it’s replacing any humans any time soon, but it has gotten exponentially better over just a few months. So maybe in a few years, I’ll start to worry.
I saw this on YT, I don’t remember any artifacts or the channel. Iirc, these 2 guys killed a homeless man while living at some homeless shelter or something. I assumed it was real, because why make up something so mundane.
NFC is built into my phone

On a side note I pulled 2 complete older PCs out of a literal trash can, added a $100 video card and rebuilt and sold them for $700. I still have a new $100 motherboard I found in that trash. People be stupid.

10%? Seems low

Hell BitTorrent is outdated, these days you just watch the movie through an online streaming site. It requires zero technical knowledge
It’s only white lib thing, if you’re a racist

My 78 year old mother bought a new laptop, windows 11.
Immediately I had to remote in because of some S mode BS which just put you in the MS only application environment.
3 months later and somehow she fubarred her login and can’t use her new laptop. There’s probably an easy fix, but since she hates windows 11 and wants to go back to 10, I suggested Linux.
So it will be a Merry Christmas for my mom when I visit and install IDK? Some version that’s super simple. Anything is better than what she currently has
I recently did physical therapy and they had me do an exercise which is basically the yoga pose upward facing dog.
Except you keep your pelvis on the ground, like a slow half push up. Started out doing 20 of these a night, up to 40.
I bend over constantly at work, and lift boxes, and after a week or since I started this exercise I have had 0% back pain. It’s been months now.

I am not sure why people subscribe to Music streaming services. My ex said it was to discover new music, but I do that via YT and friends. Other than that I just have 10 to 20 GB of music on my phone. No subscription, always available. Connects to all my devices. I just don’t get the point. Maybe if I didn’t have a PC it would be slightly more difficult to set up and add/remove music. But other than that?

You are my sunshine (The Dead South do an excellent job illustrating how dark the song really is)
I only used gaming magazines pre internet. After that, forums, eventually Steam reviews, and occasionally an independent YouTuber review. Never even heard of these sites, except polygon. Who is using these sites today ?
