@RubberDuck while I view all mainstream reporting on Labour with a bit of scepticism, I don’t doubt these are actual conversations being had.
“What’s in it for me?” is an attitude that is so ingrained, I’m not sure how long it will take for it to change - and for politicians to stop trying to appeal to it.
I imagine there’s also a healthy amount of “what are they going to do? Vote Tory? lol” going into this decision as well.
