Does an old fashioned sweet shop near me and you can just get them by the scoop full.

I can go month where I have forgotten about that place, and then I remember and then I have to go and buy bag fools of rhubarb and custards like I’m still 14.

No joke, chocolate has gotten expensive and more styrofoamey in taste as of late.

I no longer derive pleasure from eating it, I just enjoy the intense sugar high.

Yeah since Cadbury were bought out by that megacorp they started sneakily changing the recipe despite saying they wouldn’t. Seems like Mars are doing the same since my Snickers recently have had a weird taste to them.

I’m starting to move to only the smaller chocolate brands like Montezuma’s and Tony’s, more expensive but actually taste nice!

I’ve stopped buying the cheap stuff altogether. It’s not even cheap anymore so might as well support the bougie eco stuff and make it a special treat.

Yeah don’t buy them like that. The multi-packs of mini bags (8), are some of the best value and easily portioned (cos they are separate bags). You get a surprisingly pleasing quantity in one of those little bags. The only way to get them cheaper by weight is the 1 kg bags, but they don’t last as long as it’s just too easy not to stop (they also lost the crispy crunch on the shelf like they say there too long). Mini egg season is both a joy and a curse
